Circle Head is an interactive visual novel inspired by the likes of "Your B*yfriend" and . . . . really nothing else.
Many day-to-day challenges await you in this game, whether it be in the form of an unfulfilling relationship, or a job as a bathroom cleaner at a bankrupt taco shop with a boss that constantly harasses you; a nagging landlord, over-due bills, loud next-door night sex, loud next-door crying babies, loud next-door divorcees, and the sweltering Idaho summer heat to top it all off.
You think it's hell. But it's only when your A/C breaks and you call a technician, that you find out true hell is shown in the form of a circle. . . . and he wants to put a ring on it.

Er - a bloody ring taken from a newlywed's still warm corpse but a ring nonetheless.

I do NOT write or represent any specific mental illnesses in this game, but, CH is more of a trope called "yandegire", which I understand shares a lot of....'similarities' with some real-life conditions. [With that being said, he is very seriously mentally ill, there is no denying that.] This is only meant to be a satirical [not humorous, however] take on the 'new' circlehead-ed heavily romanticized abusive yandere boy trope that's been popular lately. NOT an attack on people with [insert condition here.]
"Yandegire, also known as yandeguire, is a trope that is not commonly used. They are a combination of both Yandere and Yangire; basically a yangire in love, making them much more dangerous than the two types.
Yangire (also referred to "Cute and Psycho") is a Japanese term used to refer to 'normal' people who suddenly become violent, sometimes due to a past trauma. A Yangire is a character whom snaps suddenly out jealousy, irritation or similar. Unlike a Yandere, they are not motivated by the love of another, in wrapping other words, a Yandere acts only with the love of another person, while a Yangire is kind of free spirit who happened to have committed many atrocities randomly by their own will.
While a Yandere commits atrocities on people who are close to someone they love and a Yangire commits atrocities by their own will, A Yandegire is a character who suffers from both dynamics. They do not just kill or commit atrocities out of jealousy or for person that they love, but also do it out of pleasure, vengeance, or other non-love related reasons."
TLDR; A 'normal' guy with obsessive 'love' who 'snapped' and became a serial killer in 'love'.
